Archivist, Restorick/Restarick Family Society It is very sad to record that the Society's Archivist, Roy Chapple, died on 6th December. He had been in hospital with pneumonia and had been in poor health since his heart problems earlier this year. Roy had been involved with the Society "for ever" and had been a tremendous help with all manner of aspects of our Family history, always willing to assist in any way and an absolute mine of information. We will all miss his quiet and positive approach to all the Society's activities. The Society intends to make a donation to an appropriate charity as a special way of showing our appreciation of Roy's dedication to our Family history and contributions to this donation can be made through this website by clicking THIS LINK. |
